Thanks to the proximity to the enterprise, we manage to harvest the fish just before processing. This ensures that the products are packaged, distributed, and delivered to our clients exceptionally fresh. We operate with the latest technologies and innovative solutions that help us maintain consistently high standards.
Our production is cyclical, fully utilizing the available growing cascades. In them, we simulate conditions that closely resemble the natural habitat of the trout.
What is the process?
- The juvenile fish are regularly fed to ensure they receive all necessary nutrients for their growth.
- We use high-quality extruded feeds, which are essential for the optimal development of the fish. The feed is adapted to the size of the fish and is being adjusted as they grow.
- We continuously monitor and control the quality and temperature of the water, creating a favorable and clean environment for their growth. The temperature is regulated during different seasons to help the trout adapt to the specific conditions throughout the year.
- We enrich the water with oxygen, which is crucial for the health and metabolic processes of the fish. We maintain a constant, optimal level of oxygen to ensure normal respiration and growth of the trout’s organs. At low levels, the fish begin to suffer from oxygen deficiency.
- Through careful process control, we limit any potential negative effects on the trout and the environment.
All these measures create the best conditions for raising rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). We care not only for our production but also for the preservation of nature, preventing bacterial development and minimizing our environmental footprint.
We are certified under the GLOBAL G.A.P. standard, an internationally recognized certification for best agricultural practices. It was developed to ensure food safety, sustainability, and social responsibility in the aquaculture production chain.
